Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal recently completed a three-day official visit to Singapore aimed at enhancing the economic and trade relations between India and Singapore. The discussions included the urgent need to expedite the India-Singapore Skilling Centre for MRO professionals, in collaboration with Indian universities. CapitaLand Investment expressed its commitment to expanding renewable energy solutions in Maharashtra and exploring opportunities in industrial parks and worker housing models. Royal Golden Eagle provided updates on its operations in India and expressed interest in sustainable forestry practices. Goyal also met with key executives from GIC and Temasek to discuss scaling up investments in infrastructure, hospitality, renewable energy, and urban development.
