After registration, they can submit their application on the CSMS Portal of the Ministry of Culture. Following this, the institution must provide a copy of its registration certificate to the Nodal Central Tax Officer in their respective State or Union Territory.
Once the application is received, the Nodal Central Tax Officer generates a Unique Identity Number (UIN) for the institution. The GST Authority then verifies the claims for CGST and IGST. After verification, the Ministry of Culture releases the funds to the concerned GST Authority, which subsequently reimburses the eligible institutions. This process ensures transparency and accountability in the utilization of funds.
