Scene 1: Trouble in the Deshmukh Household

Sayali was busy trying to arrange her business items but clearly struggling to manage it all. Sachin offered to help, but Sayali refused. “I’ll manage it on my own,” she said firmly, not wanting to rely on anyone. Back inside the house, Renuka was growing more upset. She stormed into her room and started complaining to her husband. “Sachin and Sayali have ruined the peace of this house,” she said. Her anger wasn’t quiet. She even declared she didn’t want either of them living there anymore. Her frustration didn’t stop there. She brought up Roshni’s situation—how Roshni had sold her mangalsutra just to repay Mamata. Renuka felt bad for Roshni and thought about buying her a new one. But Paresh advised her to stop favoring one daughter-in-law over the other. “Roshni and Riya should be treated equally,” he reminded her.

As Renuka got ready to visit the parlour, she told Roshni to get back her mangalsutra from the mortgage. Yet again, she blamed Sayali and Sachin for everything that had gone wrong and didn’t hold back from criticizing their character. Riya overheard all this. Hearing Renuka constantly speak ill of Sayali upset her deeply. She walked in and stood up for Sayali. “Please stop blaming her for everything,” Riya said calmly but clearly. “It’s not fair.”

Scene 2: Sayali’s Fever and Roshni’s Frustration

Meanwhile, Sayali was out delivering her products to customers. But she was unwell. She kept going despite feeling weak. Her friend noticed she looked unwell and checked her temperature—it was a high fever. Sayali didn’t want help, but her friend decided to support her anyway and helped deliver the rest of the products. Back at home, Shikha asked Roshni why she hadn’t taken any money to buy back her mangalsutra. Roshni explained that she didn’t want to accept any help from her mother-in-law. “If I take her help, she’ll keep reminding me about it—and about my father and uncle,” Roshni said with irritation.

Tejas, hearing about what Roshni had done, felt touched by her sacrifice. But Roshni wasn’t in a good mood. She was annoyed that Sayali hadn’t cooked food in the morning before heading out. Hearing Roshni complain again, Riya finally had enough. “Sayali does everything. She works, she delivers products, and she still tries to manage the house. Maybe instead of criticizing her, we should start helping her,” Riya said firmly. Just then, Sayali came back home. She looked very weak. Roshni asked her to cook food for her, but Sayali was clear. “I’m not feeling well. I can’t cook right now.” Riya could see how unwell Sayali looked. She didn’t say a word. She took Sayali to her own room and said, “You need rest. Please lie down and take a few hours to recover.”

Scene 3: Divided Opinions and Small Comforts

Roshni wasn’t happy to see Sayali being comforted. She pulled Riya aside and said, “You should be careful. If you keep letting her stay in your room, she’ll start thinking it’s her own.” But Riya didn’t agree. “We’re all daughters-in-law here. We should help one another, not keep distance,” she replied. Roshni’s irritation didn’t stop there. She started feeling uneasy about the growing closeness between Sachin and Sayali. She watched from a distance as Sachin went to Sayali and sat beside her. Sachin spoke gently. “You do so much, Sayali. I know you’re not feeling well. Please rest. I’ll take care of things.” His caring words touched Sayali. She hadn’t expected this level of concern. From another corner, Tejas walked over to Roshni with a piece of paper in his hand. He showed it to her. Whatever was written made Roshni light up with joy.
