Isha stands at the police station counter, clutching a bank receipt. “Transfer done,” she says, sliding the paper forward. The officer nods. “Sign here—and bring a witness.” Isha hesitates. “But I don’t know anyone here…” Outside, she spots Sachin and his wife, Sayali. “Excuse me,” Isha pleads. “Could you sign as my witness? Renuka beams. “Proud of you, Tejas!” But Sachin lingers, unconvinced.
