Sayali tries to pacify her, but Renuka cuts her off, demanding that she prepare a special dinner in the evening to make amends. โYou need to fix this situation with your cooking,โ Renuka insists. Sayali fumbles for an excuse, but her hesitance only deepens Shobhaโs concern. โCome with me to your room. We need to talk,โ Shobha says, her tone leaving no room for argument. Sayali reluctantly agrees, knowing she cannot hide the truth for much longer.

Back at Sayaliโs house, she finally confesses everything to her mother. She explains how Renuka mistreats her and how she has sacrificed her comfort and happiness to maintain peace in the family. Shobha is heartbroken, realizing the extent of her daughterโs struggles. โRenuka will never appreciate you,โ Shobha says bitterly. She offers to buy a new golden chain for Sayali, but Sayali refuses. โI donโt want anything from anyone, Maa. I want to stand on my own feet,โ she says. Sayali also shares her concern about saving money for Juhiโs future, explaining how societal expectations around dowry still persist despite changing times. โJuhi will need this money for her marriage,โ Sayali adds, her voice filled with determination. She orders Sayali to prepare multiple dishes for dinner, specifying that everything must be perfect. Despite being exhausted, Sayali heads straight to the kitchen and begins cooking. Two hours later, just as Sayali finishes the elaborate meal, Renuka assigns her yet another taskโwashing the familyโs clothes. Sayali doesnโt protest and continues working silently, her face reflecting her exhaustion.
Scene 5: Sachin Notices Sayaliโs Struggles
When Sachin returns home, he notices Sayali standing in the kitchen, washing dishes with tired hands. For the first time, he truly sees the toll that the household chores are taking on her. After she finishes her tasks and joins him in their room, Sachin speaks up. โWhy do you do everything alone? This house doesnโt run on your efforts alone. Others should help too,โ he says. Sayali listens but remains quiet, knowing that voicing her struggles wonโt change much. Sachin presses on, โThe more you do, the more theyโll pile on you. You need to stop before it breaks you.โ Sayali finally responds, โI donโt mind the hard work. I want to expand our business and support you in growing it further.โ Her words touch Sachin, but he canโt shake the feeling that sheโs pushing herself too far.

Yet, Sayali remains steadfast, focusing on her responsibilities and finding solace in the moments she can spend with Sachin. Her unwavering determination to contribute to both her family and their business becomes her anchor amid the chaos.
