The Trailer Making Competition recently held its Delhi Roadshow at Gurutegh Bahadur 4th Centenary Engineering College (GTB4CEC). The Trailer Making Competition, powered by the Netflix Fund for Creative Equity, aims to inspire aspiring filmmakers. It is part of the WAVES 2025 initiative, which seeks to equip participants with essential skills in video editing, storytelling, and trailer production. Over a three-month intensive cohort, students learn to create compelling trailers using Netflix’s extensive content library.
This initiative is designed to unlock creativity and provide hands-on experience in the filmmaking process. Participants engage in practical training, learning advanced techniques in video editing and storytelling. The competition encourages students to think outside the box and develop their unique voice in the industry.
Every participant who submits a valid trailer will receive a Certificate of Participation. The top 50 entrants will earn a Certificate of Excellence, along with recognition from FICCI and Netflix. Additionally, the top 20 contenders will receive trophies, exclusive merchandise, and the chance to attend the WAVES Summit, where they can connect with industry leaders.
