Mumbai, April 12, 2025 – The excitement is building as ‘Resonate: The EDM Challenge’ announces its top ten finalists ahead of the World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025. This prestigious competition, part of the ‘Create in India’ initiative, showcases the best in Electronic Dance Music (EDM) and aims to elevate both Indian and global talent in music production and live performance. The grand finale will take place in Mumbai from May 1-4, 2025, where these artists will perform on a global stage.

After an extensive selection process that attracted hundreds of talented entries, the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (I&B) and the Indian Music Industry (IMI) have revealed the ten artists who will compete in the grand finale of ‘Resonate: The EDM Challenge.’ The finalists hail from various regions of India, showcasing a rich diversity in electronic music styles. Expert Jury Panel Evaluates Talent
The preliminary round of the competition was judged by industry professionals from the Lost Stories Academy, a leading music production and DJ training institute in India. The jury comprised Amey Jichkar and Anshuman Prajapati, both seasoned experts in the music field. Amey Jichkar brings over a decade of experience in recording and mixing, having worked on notable Bollywood projects and major brand campaigns. Anshuman Prajapati, with expertise in beatboxing and music production, specializes in Lofi and Hip-Hop genres, known for his innovative sounds and keen A&R instincts.
Their insights and evaluations were crucial in selecting the top ten finalists, who are now gearing up for their performances at WAVES 2025. The event promises to be a significant platform for these artists to showcase their skills and creativity on an international stage.
