The new lineup features four models: the Tecno Camon 40, Camon 40 Pro, Camon 40 Pro 5G, and Camon 40 Premier 5G. Each device is equipped with cutting-edge technology, including a One-Tap Button and impressive 50-megapixel selfie cameras, all powered by advanced AI capabilities. Advanced Features of the Camon 40 Series
The Tecno Camon 40 series is powered by MediaTek Dimensity Ultimate processors, with the Camon 40 Premier 5G being the first smartphone to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultimate AI SoC. This powerful chipset supports up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, ensuring smooth performance. The Premier 5G model, along with the Camon 40 Pro and Camon 40 Pro 5G, boasts Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for enhanced durability and is rated IP68 and IP69 for dust and water resistance. In contrast, the standard Camon 40 offers an IP66 rating for protection against the elements.
All models in the series come with vibrant AMOLED displays and stereo dual speakers that support Dolby Atmos audio. The flagship Premier 5G variant is equipped with a robust 5,100mAh battery, featuring 70W wired fast charging capabilities. Each phone includes a 50-megapixel selfie camera, and the innovative One-Tap Button, combined with the AI-powered FlashSnap mode, allows users to capture images instantly without lag.

The Tecno Camon 40 Premier 5G stands out with its unique swan-neck curve design and a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-701 sensor, which captures 56.25% more light than competing sensors, enhancing night photography. The rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel ultrawide angle lens and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera, while the front camera features autofocus for high-quality selfies and video calls. The device can record 4K videos at 60fps in low-light conditions, thanks to its independent imaging chip.
AI-Powered Features and User Assistance
The Camon 40 series is packed with AI-driven features designed to enhance user experience. These include AI Eraser 2.0, AIGC Portrait 2.0, AI Perfect Face, AI Sharpness Plus, AI Image Extender, Universal Tone, AI Writing, and AI Translate. The Ella AI Assistant is integrated to assist users with scheduling, navigation, and image recognition tasks. Additionally, the smartphones support Google’s Circle to Search feature and come with an AI Call Assistant that offers Call Translation and Call Summary functionalities.
