Shri Parshottam Rupala to visit South West Garo Hills district of Meghalaya tomorrow
On January 9-10, 2023, Shri Parshottam Rupala, Union Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, will visit the South West Garo Hills district of Meghalaya, which is at the border with Bangladesh. This will be the first time a Union Cabinet Minister has visited this border region.
The Minister will chair a meeting with government officials and stakeholders in Ampati, South West Garo Hills, on 9th January 2023.
On 10th January 2023, Shri Rupala will meet with Self Help Groups for Women, Dairy Farmers, and Fisheries Entrepreneurs in the region. He’ll also visit the border town of Haat to speak with people from the region.
