Scene 1: Sacred Beginnings and Identity Claims
The episode opened with Devi Parvati announcing the order of the important ceremonies that would take place in their new golden palace. “Devsena’s griha pravesh will happen first,” she declared to the assembled divine beings. “This will officially welcome her as a member of our family.” Kartikeya took responsibility for organizing all the necessary arrangements for this sacred ceremony. “I will make sure everything is prepared properly for Devsena’s entrance into our home,” he said with dedication. The griha pravesh ceremony proceeded beautifully, with all the traditional rituals being performed to welcome Devsena into the divine household.
However, after the completion of this ceremony, Raavan made an unexpected announcement that surprised everyone present. “I want to request Brahman daan,” he declared boldly. “As a Brahman, I have the right to ask for charitable gifts from you.” This request immediately drew criticism from Indradev, who questioned Raavan’s eligibility for such treatment. “Brahman daan is specifically meant for Brahmans, not for Asuras like you,” he protested. “You cannot claim rights that don’t belong to you.”
However, Raavan was prepared to defend his claim with detailed genealogical evidence. “I am indeed a Brahman who comes from Brahma’s own family lineage,” he insisted. “My father is the great Viswamaharishi, which makes my Brahman heritage undeniable.” To prove his point, he showed them his sacred thread, the yajnopavita that Brahmans wear. “This sacred thread is proof of my Brahman status,” he said as he displayed it for all to see. “I have every right to wear this because of my birth and lineage.” Kuber remained suspicious of Raavan’s motives and questioned what he was really trying to achieve.
“What kind of trap are you setting with these claims?” he asked warily. “What is your real purpose here?” Indradev became impatient with what he saw as deception and demanded that Raavan leave immediately. “Stop playing these games and leave from here right now,” he ordered angrily. “We don’t have time for your tricks and manipulations.” But Raavan remained firm in his position. “My being a Brahman is not a game or a lie,” he replied. “It is an established fact based on my birth and family background.”
Kartikeya challenged Raavan to prove his Brahman nature through his actions rather than just his birth. “If you are truly a Brahman, then your actions should reflect Brahman values and behavior,” he pointed out. “Your conduct should prove what you claim to be.” Raavan responded to this challenge by citing a historical example. “Rishi Parashuram is remembered and honored as a Brahman, not as a Kshatriya,” he argued. “This is true even though many of Rishi Parashuram’s actions were more like those of a warrior than a peaceful Brahman.” He used this example to suggest that birth, not actions, determined one’s caste identity.
Scene 2: Divine Planning and Present Consequences
The narrative then shifted to show a conversation that had taken place a few hours earlier between Mahadev and Devi Parvati about their new golden palace. “How many doors does this beautiful palace have?” Mahadev had asked his wife during their inspection of the building. Devi Parvati provided him with the architectural details. “There are two main doors,” she had replied. “And there is also a back door for additional access.” Mahadev had then given her important guidance about their responsibilities as divine hosts. “We should fulfill the wishes of any Brahman completely and without hesitation,” he had instructed her. “This is our duty according to dharma.” Devi Parvati had nodded in agreement with his wisdom and guidance about their obligations.
Returning to the present moment, Devi Parvati acknowledged Raavan’s right to receive a gift based on his claimed Brahman status. “Raavan deserves to receive a gift according to tradition,” she announced to the gathered devas. “Please come forward and tell us what you would like to request.” However, she also reminded him of the proper protocols that must be followed. “Don’t forget that there are rules governing such requests,” she cautioned. “You must ask appropriately and respectfully.” She then explained the timing constraints they were working under.
“I need to take Devsena inside the golden palace after we complete this ritual,” she said. “So please make your request quickly.” Raavan nodded to show he understood the requirements and timeline. As he prepared to make his request, he remembered Mahadev’s earlier promise about being present in the golden palace when Raavan returned to visit.
Scene 3: Shocking Demands and Divine Opposition
Indradev continued to express his suspicions about Raavan’s true intentions. “This entire situation is clearly a trap,” he warned the other divine beings. “Raavan is planning something dangerous.” However, Suryadev took a more neutral position about Raavan’s rights. “As a Brahman, Raavan is entitled to ask for anything he desires,” he pointed out. “We must respect the traditional rules governing such requests.” Indradev questioned what more Raavan could possibly want beyond what he had already received.
“What else could you need when Mahadev has already given you the powerful Chandrahas sword?” he demanded. “Surely that gift should be sufficient for anyone.” At this moment, Raavan made his shocking request that stunned everyone present. “I want this entire golden palace as my gift,” he announced boldly. “This is what I choose to request from you.” This demand shocked Devi Parvati and all the other divine beings who had not expected such an audacious request.
“He’s asking for our entire home,” they realized with disbelief. Raavan’s secret plan was to take Mahadev to Lanka along with the golden palace, believing that the deity would accompany his dwelling. Indradev immediately condemned this request as completely inappropriate.
“Raavan has shown his true level by asking for Shiv Shakti’s own home,” he said with disgust. “This is beyond acceptable bounds.” Raavan remained defiant and pressed for an answer to his request. “I have asked for what I want according to my rights,” he told Devi Parvati directly. “Now you must say whether you will grant me this gift or refuse it.”
Chandradev became angry at Raavan’s audacity and urged Indradev to take action. “You should punish Raavan for making such an outrageous request,” he demanded. “This cannot be allowed to continue.” Suryadev agreed with Chandradev’s assessment of the situation. “Chandradev is absolutely right about this,” he said. “Raavan has gone too far.” However, Raavan used emotional manipulation to pressure Devi Parvati into granting his request. “Should a Brahman have to leave here empty-handed after making a legitimate request?” he asked pointedly. “Would you violate dharma by refusing a Brahman’s plea?”
Scene 4: Battle and Reluctant Agreement
The divine beings became so angered by Raavan’s manipulation that they prepared to attack him physically. “We won’t tolerate this blackmail any longer,” they declared as they moved to confront him. However, Raavan was ready for their aggression and drew his powerful Chandrahas sword. “I am asking for my rights as a Brahman, which means I am on the side of dharma,” he proclaimed. “Anyone who opposes me is opposing righteousness itself.” Kartikeya stepped forward to challenge Raavan directly. “I will not let you get away with this outrageous demand,” he declared. “Today I will stop you once and for all.”
Raavan responded with his own threats and taunts. “Last time you managed to escape from our confrontation,” he reminded Kartikeya. “But this time you won’t be so fortunate.” He then made his intentions clear about not holding back. “I will forget that you are Mahadev’s son and fight you with full force,” he warned.
A fierce battle erupted between the divine warriors and Raavan, with Kartikeya and the other devas attacking with all their power and skill. However, despite their combined efforts and divine abilities, they were unable to defeat Raavan in combat. “Even together, we cannot overcome his strength,” they realized with frustration. Raavan’s power proved to be too great for them to handle, leaving them at a disadvantage in the fight. Seeing that the battle was not going in favor of the divine beings, Devi Parvati made a difficult decision to prevent further violence.
“Raavan will receive a gift,” she announced, effectively agreeing to his demand. “I will grant what you have requested.” This decision shocked Kartikeya, who could not believe what he was hearing from his mother. “How can you possibly give our golden palace to Raavan?” he asked with dismay. “This is our family’s home that we just built and blessed.” Despite his protests and the concerns of the other divine beings, Devi Parvati had made her choice to honor the traditional obligation to grant a Brahman’s request, even though it meant sacrificing their beautiful new home to someone with questionable motives.
Precap: Devi Parvati will follow through on her promise and give the golden palace to Raavan as requested. Raavan will then transport the entire golden palace to Lanka, believing that he is successfully taking Mahadev with him as part of his scheme. However, when Devi Parvati asks about Mahadev’s whereabouts, Indradev will deliver shocking news that Mahadev is indeed trapped inside the golden palace that Raavan has taken. This revelation will completely shock Devi Parvati as she realizes the full consequences of her decision to grant Raavan’s request.
