Samsung Delays One UI 7 Global Rollout
Samsung has revealed a revised global release schedule for its One UI 7 operating system, following the initial rollout in South Korea. According to recent social media reports, the Android 15-based update for several Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S23 series, has been postponed to May 2025. Additionally, the Galaxy Tab S9 series and Galaxy Tab A9 may not receive the update until June and July, respectively.
One UI 7 Release Schedule Details
The updated release timeline surfaced from a Reddit post by user @The_TAM, who claims to have found the information in the Samsung Members app. A screenshot shared in the post indicates that the One UI 7 update is still on track for an April release for the Galaxy S24 series, as well as the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6. However, the rollout for the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Tab S10 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5 has been pushed back to May.
Moreover, the post suggests that the update could be delayed further for the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series, Galaxy A35 5G, Galaxy A55 5G, and other models in the Galaxy A, Galaxy F, and Galaxy M lineups, with these devices expected to receive the One UI 7 update in June. The Galaxy Tab A9 is projected to receive the update as late as July, according to the leaked schedule.
