Step-by-Step Application Process for Rajasthan SET 2026

The application process involves several stages that candidates must complete carefully. Each step requires accurate information and proper document submission. Following the correct procedure ensures smooth registration and application submission.

Step 1: SSO Registration and OTR Profile Creation

Candidates must first register on the SSO Portal. Once registration is complete, they receive login credentials. Using these credentials, applicants create their permanent candidate profile through OTR on the recruitment portal.

Step 2: Complete OTR Process

Visit the official Recruitment Portal at recruitment.rajasthan.gov.in. Log in using your SSO ID credentials. A pop-up will appear asking you to complete e-KYC under OTR. Click ‘OK’ to proceed with the OTR process.

Step 3: Fill Basic Information

On the Basic Information Page, the first question asks: ‘Are you a resident of Rajasthan? – Yes / No’. If you select Yes, choose one verification type for identity confirmation. Options include Aadhaar Card, Jan Aadhaar Card, or SSO Profile. Proceed according to your selected verification method.

Based on your verification type and provided details, the system will auto-populate certain information. This includes your full name, father’s name, date of birth, and gender. Verify all auto-populated information carefully before proceeding further.

Step 4: Complete Personal Details Section

Fill all remaining mandatory fields in your profile accurately. Required information includes full name as per official documents, father’s or husband’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, and gender. Select your category from the options: General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, or Saharia.

Provide your residence details, mobile number, and email address. If applicable, indicate any special reservation category. Ensure all information is accurate as changes cannot be easily made after OTR submission.

Step 5: KYC Process and Document Upload

On the KYC page, upload the following documents: a live photograph captured during KYC, handwritten specimen, signature in both Hindi and English, and thumb impression. For SSO-based OTR, first complete KYC through Aadhaar or Jan Aadhaar, then upload the required documents.

After uploading all documents, click ‘Next’ to proceed. Pay the prescribed OTR registration fee through the secure online payment gateway. Upon successful payment, your OTR Profile Page will display with a unique OTR Number. Note this number carefully as it is required for all future applications on the portal.

Step 6: Apply for SET 2026

Log in to the Recruitment Portal using your SSO ID. Navigate to the ‘Ongoing Recruitments’ section from the portal dashboard. Locate the notification for ‘State Eligibility Test (SET) — 2026’ and click to open it. Select your desired subject for application.
