Indian actor R. Madhavan and his wife Sarita have recently entered the rental market with their co-owned apartment in Mumbai’s upscale Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). The couple has listed the property for a starting monthly rent of ₹6.50 lakh, as confirmed by property registration documents reviewed by real estate platform Square Yards. The rental agreement for the apartment, located in the prestigious Signia Pearl complex, includes a security deposit of ₹39 lakh. The registration of the lease involved a stamp duty of ₹47,000 and an additional registration charge of ₹1,000. The lease is set for a duration of 24 months, commencing in the first week of June 2025, with a lock-in period of 16 months. The monthly rent will increase by 5% in the second year, starting at ₹6.50 lakh and rising to approximately ₹6.83 lakh. Over the two-year term, the total rental income is projected to be around ₹1.60 crore.
