Oppo Launches Watch X2 Mini with Impressive Features

Oppo has unveiled its latest smartwatch, the Watch X2 Mini, in China, alongside the highly anticipated Oppo Find X8 Ultra and the Find X8s series. This new wearable is powered by the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC and features a BES2700BP chipset. With a 345mAh battery promising up to seven days of usage on a single charge, the Watch X2 Mini also supports eSIM connectivity and offers a luxurious gold-plated variant.

Pricing and Availability of Oppo Watch X2 Mini

The Oppo Watch X2 Mini is priced starting at CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs. 21,200) for the Hoshino Black and Moonlight Silver models. The Tomorrow Gold variant, which features gold-plated accents, is available for CNY 2,099 (around Rs. 24,700). Pre-sales for the smartwatch have commenced in China through the official e-store, with general availability set to begin on April 16 at 10 AM local time (7:30 AM IST).

Key Features of the Oppo Watch X2 Mini

This smartwatch boasts a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466×466 pixels, delivering a pixel density of 352ppi and peak brightness of 1,000 nits. The device is built on a dual-chip architecture, combining the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC with a BES2700BP chipset, complemented by 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It also supports 4GB eMMC storage for RTOS and operates on ColorOS Watch 7.0, making it compatible with both Android and iOS devices.

The Watch X2 Mini features a functional rotating crown, with the Tomorrow Gold version showcasing an 18K gold-plated crown inspired by the Roman Pantheon. This premium variant includes a textured leather strap, while the other models come with fluoroelastomer straps. All versions are crafted with a stainless steel body and a plastic bottom case, ensuring durability with IP68 dust and water resistance and a 5ATM rating.

Health and wellness tracking capabilities are a highlight of the Watch X2 Mini, featuring heart rate and blood oxygen level (SpO2) monitors, sleep tracking, HRV-based stress monitoring, and menstrual cycle tracking. Users can also receive sedentary alerts and monitor blood glucose levels through compatible third-party devices. The smartwatch supports over 100 preset sports modes and offers more than 2,000 customizable watch faces. Connectivity options include eSIM, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi, and GPS.

Battery Life and Charging Capabilities

The Oppo Watch X2 Mini is equipped with a 345mAh battery, which is claimed to provide up to seven days of usage in power-saving mode. In smart mode, users can expect around two and a half days of battery life, while heavy usage may reduce this to one and a half days. A quick 10-minute charge can yield up to 24 hours of usage, and the watch can fully charge from 0 to 100 percent in just one hour. The device measures 43.2×43.2x11mm and weighs 37.8g without the strap, making it a lightweight and convenient option for users.
