Nyaya Vikas Portal created for monitoring the implementation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes
Nyaya Vikas portal allows four efficient ways to access the portal, thus allowing stakeholders to seamlessly access information related to funding, documentation, project monitoring AND approval.
About Nyaya Vikas: The Justice Department implemented the Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) for the development of infrastructure facilities for the districts and subordinate judiciary from 1993-94.
Under the Plan, core assistance is provided to the State Government/UT Administrations for the construction of courtrooms and housing units for Bailiffs/District and Subordinate Court Judges. With the further extension of the scheme beyond 31.03.2021, some new features have been added to the scheme such as the Lawyers’ Room, toilet complexes and digital computer rooms for the convenience of lawyers and litigants, as well as classrooms of courts and residential units.
The fund sharing pattern under the scheme for the core and state is 60:40 vis-ร -vis states other than the Northeastern and Himalayan states. The fund sharing pattern is 90:10 compared to the Northeastern and Himalayan states; and 100% with respect to the territories of the Union. This portal has been created to monitor the implementation of this Scheme.
