Shri Rakesh Kumar, the CMD of NLC India Limited, inaugurated a new High-end Cardiac Centre with a state-of-the-art Cath Lab at NLC India Hospital.
The only advanced cath lab in Cuddalore District, Tamil Nadu, providing cardiology outpatient and inpatient treatment for any cardiac disease for patients referred by NLC India Hospital and stakeholders. There are procedures such as coronary angiography, elective and emergency coronary peripheral angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, and others performed here.
All medical emergencies will be handled at the Centre. The Cath Lab is equipped with 25 beds with all amenities (3 Emergency Rooms, 6 Critical Care Units, 2 Recovery Wards, 5 Wards, 6 semiprivate, and 3 single rooms). By the end of next month, the facility will be fully operational.

In addition, Shri Kumar inaugurated the IP based Surveillance System Project in Neyveli Township Area. The Smart City Project aims to improve safety and security in Neyveli Township by implementing this system. The project costing Rs. 13.40 crore consists of 322 bullet cameras and 14 automatic number plate cameras, at strategic and vulnerable locations.
