Nationwide Pension Adalat to Address Grievances
The Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW) is set to hold its 12th Nation-wide Pension Adalat on February 13, 2025. This event will take place in New Delhi under the leadership of Dr. Jitendra Singh, the Minister of State for the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions. The Adalat aims to resolve pension-related grievances that have been pending for over 120 days. This system has proven effective, with over 18,000 cases resolved across the country, achieving a success rate of more than 71 percent. The upcoming Adalat will continue this tradition, focusing on cases that have lingered for too long.

The 12th Pension Adalat will see participation from 16 different ministries and departments. Notable participants include the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Defence, and the Central Pension Accounting Office (CPAO). A total of 180 cases will be discussed, highlighting the collaborative effort to resolve pension-related issues. The presence of senior officials, including Shri V Srinivas, Secretary of DoPPW, and other key figures, underscores the importance of this event.
