National School Band Competition 2025: A Grand Finale
The Department of School Education and Literacy (DoSEL), under the Ministry of Education, is set to host the grand finale of the National School Band Competition 6.0. This exciting event will take place on January 24-25, 2025, at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium in New Delhi. This year, 16 band teams from 13 states, comprising a total of 463 children, have been selected to participate in the finale. These teams emerged victorious from extensive state- and zonal-level competitions, which saw participation from thousands of students across the country.

Notably, students from PM SHRI KGBV Patamda in Purbi Singhbum, Jharkhand, will perform at the rostrum in front of the Presidential stage. Additionally, two band teams, one from Kendriya Vidyalaya and another from Government Sr. Sec. School West Point in Sikkim, will perform at Vijay Chowk during the parade.
