Background of the National Ayush Mission

Launched in 2014, the National Ayush Mission has played a vital role in preserving and promoting India’s traditional systems of medicine. It aims to enhance the availability, accessibility, and quality of Ayush healthcare services across the country, aligning with the Government of India’s Ayushman Bharat scheme. The previous NAM Conclave in 2023 resulted in significant resolutions, including the expansion of Ayush Health and Wellness Centres and the integration of Ayush services with national health programs.

The upcoming 2025 conclave seeks to build on these achievements, with a renewed focus on innovation, standardization, and international outreach. By bringing together diverse stakeholders, the conclave aims to create a collaborative environment that will strengthen the future of Ayush healthcare in India.
