Motorola Edge 60 Fusion Set for April Launch in India

Motorola has officially announced the launch of its highly anticipated Edge 60 Fusion smartphone in India, scheduled for April 2 at 12 PM IST. The Lenovo-owned company revealed key features and design elements through a dedicated microsite on Flipkart, confirming that the device will be available for purchase on the platform. The Edge 60 Fusion is expected to succeed the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion, which debuted in May 2024.

Launch Details and Design Features

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion will make its debut in India on April 2, as confirmed by a promotional microsite on Flipkart. The smartphone will be available in three attractive color options: light blue, salmon (light pink), and lavender (light purple). It will run on Android 15 with the Hello UI interface and promises three years of Android OS updates along with four years of security updates. In terms of design, the Edge 60 Fusion features a sleek appearance reminiscent of previously leaked renders. The back panel showcases a squarish camera module located in the top right corner, housing three sensors and an LED flash. The device boasts a curved display with slim bezels and a centered hole-punch cutout for the front camera. The right edge of the phone is expected to include the volume and power buttons for easy access.

Powerful Performance and Storage Options

Under the hood, the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 SoC, ensuring robust performance. Users can choose between 8GB and 12GB of RAM, paired with 256GB of internal storage. Additionally, the smartphone will support expandable storage of up to 1TB via a microSD card, catering to users with extensive media libraries. The device will also feature the Moto AI suite, which includes innovative tools such as AI Magic Eraser, AI Magic Editor, and Google’s Circle to Search. These features aim to enhance the user experience by providing advanced editing and search capabilities.

The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is equipped with a stunning 6.7-inch 1.5K Pantone-validated all-curved display, offering a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and a remarkable 96.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. The display supports HDR10+ and is protected by SGS Eye Care and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, ensuring durability and visual comfort. For photography enthusiasts, the smartphone features a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel Sony LYT700C primary sensor, a 13-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a macro lens for close-up shots. The front camera is equipped with a 32-megapixel sensor, capable of recording videos in up to 4K resolution. Powering the device is a robust 5,500mAh battery that supports 68W wired fast charging. The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is designed to withstand the elements, boasting IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, along with MIL-810H military-grade durability certification. Additional features include Moto Secure 3.0, Smart Connect 2.0, Family Space 3.0, and Moto Gestures, enhancing the overall functionality of the device.
