The Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India organizes the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) every year to give due recognition to children with exceptional abilities, who have achieved extraordinary recognition in the fields of bravery, sports, of Social Work, Science & Technology, Environment, Arts & Culture and Innovation, which deserve national recognition. These awards are presented by the Honorable President of India in New Delhi in a special ceremony/function held in January every year. The prizes carry prize money of Rs. 1,00,000/-, Medal, Certificate, etc.
Any child who is an Indian citizen and resident of India and under the age of 18 (as of the latest date of receipt of the application/application) is eligible to claim the prize. Applications for the PMRBP will only be received on the online portal https://awards.gov.in, designed for this purpose. The latest date of receipt of online application forms is 31.07.2023.
