Meizu Note 16 Pro Launches with 6,200mAh Battery and Snapdragon 7s Gen 3

Meizu has officially unveiled its latest smartphones, the Meizu Note 16 Pro and Meizu Note 16, in China. Both devices are powered by Flyme AIOS 2, which is based on Android 15, and feature impressive 6.78-inch displays. The Note 16 Pro is equipped with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, while the standard Note 16 runs on a Unisoc T8200 processor. Battery life is a highlight for both models, with the Pro variant offering a 6,200mAh battery and 80W wired charging, while the Note 16 boasts a larger 6,600mAh battery with 40W charging support.

Pricing and Availability of Meizu Note 16 Pro and Meizu Note 16

The Meizu Note 16 Pro is available in several configurations, starting at CNY 1,499 (approximately Rs. 17,000) for the 8GB + 256GB model. Higher RAM and storage options include the 12GB + 256GB variant priced at CNY 1,699 (around Rs. 20,000), the 12GB + 512GB model at CNY 1,899 (approximately Rs. 22,000), and the top-tier 16GB + 512GB version at CNY 2,099 (about Rs. 24,000). Color choices for the Pro model include Cloud White, Light Boat Blue, and Star Chaser Gray.

In contrast, the standard Meizu Note 16 starts at CNY 799 (roughly Rs. 8,000) for the base 8GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 256GB model is priced at CNY 999 (around Rs. 11,000), while the 12GB + 256GB variant costs CNY 1,199 (approximately Rs. 14,000). This model is available in Child Red, Rock Black, and Snow White color options. Both smartphones are currently available for pre-order in China through the official Meizu website, with sales set to begin on May 16.

For photography, the Note 16 includes a dual-camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, along with an 8-megapixel selfie camera similar to the Pro version. Notable features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for authentication and an IP65-rated build for water and dust resistance. The device is equipped with a 6,600mAh battery that supports 40W charging, ensuring long-lasting performance for users.
