Scene 1: Neel’s Frustrations

The episode begins with Neel sharing his feelings with Kusum. “No one in this house accepts me,” he says with sadness in his voice. “I feel like I’m not meant to have a family at all.” He reminisces about past hurts. “On my birthday, I was slapped, my friends were thrown out, and now I’m being humiliated too.” Neel explains his current situation. “Today is my birthday again, but only Ishana’s friends came. Ishana had fun with them while introducing me as her cousin brother.” He compares how differently they are treated. “Mangal treats Ishana like her own daughter, but I feel like an outsider in this house.”

Mangal overhears and confronts him. “Stop acting, Neel,” she says firmly. “You know exactly what mistake you made.” Neel responds defensively. “You’re still scolding me,” he says. “I’m going to leave this house.” Kusum immediately steps in to stop him. “You are the eldest son of this family, and you will stay here,” she insists. Neel stands his ground. “Problems happen because of me, so I should go,” he argues. “My friends made some mischief, and Mangal threw them out—now she’s doing the same to me.” Kusum begs Neel not to leave and turns to Mangal. “Ishana also made a mistake by introducing Neel as her cousin,” she points out. Mangal starts to explain her understanding of why Ishana might have done that, but Adit interrupts the discussion. “Enough,” he says with authority. “Neel will stay here, and that’s final.” Following Adit’s decision, Kusum sends Neel inside the house.

Scene 2: The Family Discussion

Later, Kusum speaks privately with Mangal. “You were wrong to slap Neel in front of his friends,” she tells her. Mangal defends her actions. “Neel was at fault for what he did to Ishana,” she argues. Kusum takes Neel’s side. “It might have just been childish mischief,” she suggests. “Neel has been away from us for so long. Maybe he just lacked proper guidance.” She advises Mangal to change her approach. “Stop treating Neel like an outsider. Remember, he is your biological son.” Adit joins the conversation with his own perspective. “Stop treating the kids differently,” he tells Mangal. “You easily forgive Ishana’s mistakes but are too harsh on Neel.” Hearing these words, Ishana, who was listening nearby, leaves the room in tears.

Scene 3: Sowmya’s Manipulation

Sowmya brings ice cream to Neel as a peace offering. “Here, have some ice cream,” she says kindly. Neel refuses it. “I’m not hungry,” he replies. Sowmya tries to encourage him. “It’s hard to stay angry for long,” she says. “I understand how tough it is to deal with Mangal’s lectures.” She gives him what seems like helpful advice. “Just apologize to Mangal once. That will fix everything and help you win everyone’s support at home.” Neel, not realizing he’s being manipulated by Sowmya, agrees to follow her suggestion.

Scene 4: The Apology and Its Aftermath

Following Sowmya’s advice, Neel kneels before Mangal. “I’m sorry,” he says. “I promise not to make any more mistakes.” Sowmya watches with satisfaction and points out Neel’s good behavior to Kusum. “Look how good Neel is being,” she says proudly. Mangal remains suspicious. “Stop pretending,” she tells Neel. Neel insists he’s being sincere. “I truly am sorry. I admit I hurt Ishana,” he says. “From now on, I’ll follow all your rules. Please forgive me.” Kusum urges Mangal, “Please forgive him.” While this is happening, Sowmya goes to find Ishana. “Come out of your room and spend time with everyone on your birthday,” she encourages. “Everyone loves you.” Back in the living room, Neel continues to plead for forgiveness. Finally, Mangal’s heart softens. She forgives him, hugs him, and gives him a warning. “Don’t repeat your mistake,” she says. Just as they embrace, Ishana enters the room. Seeing them hugging, she begins clapping sarcastically.

Scene 5: Ishana’s Anger and Sowmya’s Plot

Ishana questions Mangal’s actions. “How could you hug Neel?” she asks in disbelief. “I didn’t expect you to change like this.” Kusum tries to explain the situation. “Neel apologized,” she says. Ishana remains upset. “Neel insulted me in front of my friends,” she argues. “He shouldn’t be forgiven so easily.” Mangal explains her reasoning. “Parents always forgive their children’s mistakes,” she says. Then she turns to Neel. “Now apologize to Ishana.” To everyone’s surprise, Neel refuses. “Mom, I got your forgiveness. I won’t apologize to Ishana,” he declares. Ishana expresses her disappointment. “You always stood for what’s right,” she tells Mangal. “But now you’re supporting your son. I hate you.”

Meanwhile, in another area, Sowmya is revealed to be the mastermind behind the family drama. She pours acid on a plant, causing it to burn. She smiles with satisfaction. “I’ll use your kids as my pawns, Mangal,” she says to herself. “I’ll make you lonely, just like I once was.”

What Happens Next

In the next episode, Mangal will tell Adit her decision to move to Mussoorie with the children. Kusum will respond with her own condition, saying, “You can go with Ishana, but Neel will stay here with us.”
