Madhya Pradesh Launches Commemorative Stamp for Sickle Cell Eradication Mission on Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas

On the occasion of Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, observed on November 15, 2024, the Hon’ble Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Mangubhai Patel, and Chief Minister Shri Mohan Yadav unveiled a commemorative postage stamp titled “Sickle Cell Eradication – 2047.” The ceremony, held at PG College in Dhar, showcased the state’s commitment to combating sickle cell anemia, a hereditary disease significantly affecting tribal populations.
