Scene 1: Kishan’s Prayer and the Midwife’s News
The episode begins with Kishan praying to God. He is hopeful that Maata Rani will bless him with a baby girl. As he prays, the midwife approaches him with somber news. “Your wife gave birth to a dead baby girl,” she says quietly. Kishan is devastated. “Why did this happen?” he asks, looking up at Maata Rani’s statue. “I was about to be blessed with a baby girl, but now this…” His voice trails off as he struggles to make sense of the situation. Just then, Kishan hears the faint sound of a baby crying. Curious, he follows the sound behind the Maata Rani statue. There, he finds a newborn baby girl lying there. Overwhelmed, Kishan picks her up gently.
Scene 2: The Midwife’s Plan
The midwife watches Kishan holding the baby and suggests a plan. “Go to your wife,” she tells him. “I didn’t tell her that she gave birth to a dead baby girl.” She then asks Surekha, who is nearby, to make funeral arrangements for the dead baby. Turning back to Kishan, she says, “Look for this baby’s mother. She might be somewhere around here.” Kishan agrees and sets out to search for the baby’s mother. After some time, he returns, shaking his head. “I looked everywhere, but I couldn’t find her,” he says. The midwife reflects on the situation. “Maybe she left the baby here at Maata Rani so that Maata Rani would take care of her,” she muses. Looking at Kishan, she adds, “From today onwards, you can become this baby’s father.” Kishan takes the baby into his arms, feeling a mix of emotions.
Scene 3: Kishan’s Wife’s Reaction
Kishan brings the baby to his wife, who believes the child is hers. Overjoyed, she takes the baby from Kishan’s hands. “I thought of committing suicide when I didn’t hear the baby crying,” she confesses. “I thought I had given birth to another dead baby like last time.” Her eyes fill with tears as she looks at the baby. “This is a blessing from Goddess,” she says, cradling the newborn.
Scene 4: Purvi’s Desperation
Meanwhile, Purvi is in a dire situation. She begs Monisha, Jasbir, and Armaan to let her live. “Please, RV won’t be able to live without me,” she pleads. Monisha scoffs at her. “You think we’ll let you go after everything?” she sneers. Purvi seizes an opportunity and grabs the knife from Jasbir. She takes Monisha hostage and forces her to video call RV. Through the call, Purvi tells RV everything—how she gave birth to a baby and how Monisha, Jasbir, and Armaan tried to kill her. RV reassures her. “I’m coming to you,” he says. “Just wait for me.”
Scene 5: Betrayal and Chaos
Before RV can act, Monisha wrests the knife back from Purvi and stabs her in the stomach. RV witnesses the entire scene through the video call. Enraged, he rushes toward their location but gets hit by Armaan’s car. Injured but determined, RV gets up and fights back, beating Armaan before getting into the car to reach Purvi. Meanwhile, Purvi manages to escape when Monisha and Jasbir are distracted watching RV fight Armaan.
Scene 6: A Deadly Confrontation
Monisha and Jasbir soon realize Purvi has escaped and begin searching for her. Through the video call, Purvi urges RV to hurry. “I want to be with you,” she says weakly. RV warns Monisha and Jasbir through the phone. “If anything happens to Purvi, I won’t spare you,” he growls. Despite his warning, Monisha stabs Purvi again, and Jasbir pushes her off a hill. Purvi falls into the valley as RV crashes his car while trying to reach her.
Scene 7: Naming the Baby
Back at Kishan’s home, he and his wife discuss what to name the baby. The midwife suggests, “Why not name her Prarthna?” Kishan and his wife agree, smiling as they look at the baby. “Prarthna it is,” they say together, feeling a sense of hope and joy.
