The event saw participation from over 1,000 individuals, including youth, serving and retired Armed Forces personnel, and families of the fallen heroes. The padyatra covered a distance of 1.5 kilometers, starting from Himabass Public High School and concluding at Government Higher Secondary School, Bhimbet. Following the padyatra, the ministers, along with youth volunteers, visited the Kargil War Memorial to pay their respects to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the conflict.
