Jhanak Written Update 4th December 2025: Dritimaan’s Truth and Sanjhbati’s Dilemma

Scene 1: Family Confrontation and Medical Revelation
The episode opens with Indumati directly asking Dritimaan about his long absence from the family. “Why did you leave us for so many years?” she asks with hurt in her voice. Dritimaan responds calmly, “You will understand my reasons after listening to what I have to say.” He promises to explain everything that led to his sudden departure from home. Dadabhai becomes angry and accuses Dritimaan of failing in his duties as a son and a partner.
“You did not fulfill your responsibilities as a son and you also left Sanjhbati behind,” Dadabhai scolds him harshly. He points out how Sanjhbati’s love remained strong despite Dritimaan’s abandonment. “Sanjhbati still loves you deeply, which is why she never married anyone else during your absence,” he tells Dritimaan. Dadabhai continues his criticism by saying that Dritimaan ruined everything for everyone involved. He calls Dritimaan selfish and demands to know why he chose to return after so many years of silence.
Neelu intervenes in the heated conversation and asks Dadabhai to be more patient with Dritimaan. “Please give Dritimaan a chance to explain his side of the story,” she requests. Putul adds her own perspective about how the family suffered during his absence. “Our entire life changed completely after you left us,” she tells Dritimaan with sadness. Dritimaan acknowledges their pain and responds, “Maybe you will understand my actions after learning the complete truth about what happened.”
Rishi questions Dritimaan about his decision to bring Sanjhbati into their house. “Why did you bring Sanjhbati inside with you?” he asks. Dritimaan explains simply, “Sanjhbati is also part of my family.” However, Sanjhbati becomes upset and tells him, “Stop this acting and pretending.” Jhanak tries to mediate the situation by requesting, “Please listen to what Dritimaan wants to say before making any judgments.”
Scene 2: Family Introductions and Social Status Discussions
Mishti takes charge of organizing the household and tells the servants about their duties. “The servants should go to the guest room to take proper care of our guests,” she instructs them. All the servants leave the room as directed, but Jhanak remains behind with the family. Mishti notices this and questions Jhanak’s presence, “Why did you not leave with the other servants?” Rishi immediately defends Jhanak and orders Mishti to stop her inappropriate comments.
Arshi also questions Jhanak about staying in the room. “Why are you not going to help with the guests?” she asks. Aditi intervenes to calm the situation and tells Arshi, “It is perfectly fine for Jhanak to stay here.” She explains to everyone that emotions are running high due to Dritimaan’s unexpected return. “You can stay here if you want to because you are like a family member to us,” Aditi tells Jhanak kindly.
Aniruddh disagrees with Aditi’s approach and criticizes her for being too generous. “You are giving way too much importance to Jhanak unnecessarily,” he tells his sister. Despite this criticism, Aditi maintains her position about treating Jhanak with respect and kindness. Rishi then takes the opportunity to introduce his wife’s family to his returned brother. He presents Aditi and all her family members to Dritimaan, and then he specifically introduces Jhanak as well.
Dritimaan becomes curious about why Aditi’s family members were questioning him so intensely. “Why did your family ask me so many personal questions?” he wonders aloud. Arshi provides her perspective on their social standing and explains their concerns. “We are high-class people, not middle-class like your family members,” she tells him directly. She continues, “Everyone in our social circle asks us questions about Dritimaan because he is Aditi’s brother-in-law.” Dritimaan responds with surprise, “It is unbelievable that people want to know what Aditi’s brother-in-law is doing with his life.”
Scene 3: The Medical Truth and Family Reactions
Surjeet redirects the conversation back to the important matters at hand. “Leave all that aside and tell us what you really want to say,” he demands. He also asks, “Why did you stop contacting us completely for so many years?” Abhimanyu supports this line of questioning and adds, “You should have shared everything with your family instead of disappearing.” Tanushri expresses the family’s frustration during his absence by saying, “We did not have proper answers for anyone’s questions about you.”
Dritimaan acknowledges the pain he caused and responds with genuine remorse. “I understand that you all suffered tremendously because of my actions,” he admits. He continues, “I came here today to explain exactly why I had to leave so suddenly.” He turns to Sanjhbati and offers a sincere apology for the hurt he caused her. “I am deeply sorry for hurting you,” he tells her. He admits his responsibility by saying, “I know that I completely ruined your life.” Then he hands her a medical report to explain everything.
Sanjhbati takes the medical document and asks through her tears, “What exactly is this report?” Dritimaan tries to reassure her by explaining, “That is an old medical report, but I am completely fine now.” Sanjhbati becomes emotional and asks him why he kept this information secret. “Why did you not tell me about this medical condition earlier?” she demands to know. She continues, “Did you think that I would leave you after learning about your disease?” This question shows how hurt she feels by his lack of trust in their relationship.
Dritimaan explains his reasoning for keeping the medical condition secret from everyone. “I was not sure that I would survive this illness,” he confesses. He asks her, “How could I ruin your entire life when I loved you so deeply?” This revelation shows that he left to protect her from the pain of watching him suffer. Rishi becomes concerned and asks, “What exactly is this disease that you are talking about?” Sanjhbati provides the heartbreaking answer, “This particular disease does not have any known cure.” Indumati becomes worried and asks, “Did you come back to see us one last time before you die?”
Scene 4: Marriage Proposal and Family Schemes
Jhanak tries to provide comfort and reassurance to the worried family members. “Please do not worry because Dritimaan clearly said that he is completely fine now,” she tells Indumati. Dritimaan confirms Jhanak’s words and says, “Jhanak is absolutely right about my current health condition.” He explains his noble intentions for leaving by saying, “I did not want to be selfish with anyone’s life, which is why I had to leave.” He then makes an important request to Sanjhbati. “Will you give me one more chance to prove my love?” he asks her.
He continues with his heartfelt proposal, “I want to marry you and spend the rest of my life making up for the pain I caused.” Everyone becomes happy upon hearing this romantic declaration and marriage proposal. Rishi expresses optimism about the situation, “Sanjhbati will definitely agree to this proposal and the marriage will happen soon.” Jhanak adds her own positive perspective, “God has returned all the happiness to Sanjhbati after her long wait.” Dadabhai makes an observation about Jhanak’s presence in their home, “Jhanak is really lucky to be living in this house with our family.”
Dritimaan becomes curious about Jhanak and asks for more information about her background. Putul provides details about Jhanak’s current situation and studies. “Jhanak is a student at the medical college,” she explains. She continues, “Jhanak does not have any other place to stay, so she is living here with us.” Putul expresses confidence that Dritimaan will appreciate Jhanak’s character, “I am sure you will like Jhanak once you get to know her better.” Dritimaan responds positively, “It is good that such a mature girl like Jhanak is staying in our house.”
However, Arshi tries to create doubt about Jhanak’s character. “You do not know much about Jhanak’s true nature yet,” she tells Dritimaan. Neelu supports Arshi’s negative view and adds, “Dritimaan should know the complete truth about Jhanak before making any judgments.” Rishi tries to stop this negative conversation, but Neelu continues anyway. “Jhanak forcefully married Rishi with help from her village people,” she reveals to Dritimaan. Sanjhbati decides to end this uncomfortable discussion, “I will explain everything about this situation to you later.”
Meanwhile, Aditi begins plotting against Jhanak with Mishti’s help. “Take this valuable jewelry and hide it carefully,” she instructs Mishti. She explains that this plan was originally Arshi’s idea to get rid of Jhanak permanently. “This scheme will help us throw Jhanak out of our lives forever,” she tells Mishti. She continues, “I will send Jhanak to the room where you have hidden the jewelry.” Mishti praises the cleverness of their plan and leaves to complete her part. Aditi thinks to herself with satisfaction, “Jhanak will be out of my life permanently after this plan succeeds.”
