The episode opens with Parashar standing firm as he tells Jhanak, “You must marry Aniruddh and move to the city.” Jhanak’s voice cracks as she fires back, “How can you decide my future for me?” Parashar crosses his arms, replying, “I’m your friend. I know what’s best.” His eyes harden. “You never loved me anyway. Aniruddh will care for you.” Jhanak pleads, “Please, rest at home first.” But Parashar shakes his head, turning away. “Aniruddh will handle everything,” he mutters before leaving. Aniruddh approaches Jhanak, his hands trembling slightly. “We’ll be happy together,” he says, wiping tears. “Don’t worry about Arshi—I’ll give her alimony. I only want you .” Jhanak stays silent, her face unreadable as Aniruddh walks off, shoulders slumped. Meanwhile, Ishani sits on a hospital bed, clutching her knees. Ambika suggests, “Take your exams privately.” Ishani’s voice wavers, “Why did this happen to me?” Abhijeet interrupts, “Private exams will break her confidence!” He turns to Ishani, softening. “Don’t quit. I’ll get you into a new college.” Tears well in his eyes. “I love you most. Promise me you’ll become an IPS officer.” Ishani sniffles as Ambika chimes in, “I’ll cook your favorite dishes tomorrow. Rest now.” A faint smile tugs at Ishani’s lips as Ambika hugs her tightly.
Scene 2: Hope Rekindled
The next morning, Anjana peers at Kajol, frowning. “Are you okay?” Kajol nods stiffly. Bablu interjects, “You don’t look fine.” Lalon slumps in a chair, muttering, “I don’t even want to live.” Anuradha snaps, “Stop talking about death!” Bablu steps forward, clearing his throat. “I have something important to say.” He pauses. “Apu’s last wish was for Lalon to become a singer and marry you, Kajol.” Kajol jumps up. “Don’t talk like this!” Lalon shakes his head. “I can’t sing anymore.” Bablu insists, “Apu knew you’d fall apart after her death. That’s why she asked this of you!” Anuradha adds, “Her wish must come true. I want this too.” Anjana protests, “No one can replace Apu!” Bablu’s voice sharpens. “Kajol gave everything to our family. She’s like my daughter. Give her a chance, Lalon.” Kajol’s hands clench. “I won’t come back if you refuse,” Bablu warns, storming out.
Scene 3: Echoes of a Final Wish
At the hospital, Arshi bursts into her family’s room. “Aniruddh went to Jhanak again!” she yells. Shubhankar sighs, “Talk to him yourself.” Anjana waves a hand. “This is husband-wife business.” Bablu snaps, “You should care, Arshi! Jhanak is your sister!” Shubhankar glares at Arshi. “I’m alone since Tanuja’s illness. Stop complaining—Aniruddh gives you everything.” Choton grumbles, “He’s not a kid. Leave him be.” Arshi storms out, muttering curses. Back in the village, Parashar leads Jhanak past curious onlookers. “Bua and Kanka will face consequences,” he growls. Jhanak stops him. “Let it go.” Parashar softens. “Aniruddh’s at home, arranging things.” Suddenly, Bua and Kanka materialize, smirking. Bua whispers to Kanka, “Jhanak cast black magic on Parashar. I heard Aniruddh visited her in the hospital.” Kanka sneers, “Parashar’s definitely not the baby’s father.” Rani and Pool rush over, beaming. “Welcome back, Jhanak!” Parashar spins to face Bua and Kanka. “Why are you here?” Bua fake-smiles. “Just came to see Jhanak.” Parashar barks, “You don’t deserve her! Apologize to Sarpanch or face punishment!”
Scene 4: Secrets in the Shadows
The episode ends with Aniruddh pacing his room, fists clenched. “No one will separate us now,” he whispers. Outside, the village buzzes with rumors. Bua and Kanka slink away, plotting. Meanwhile, Lalon stares at a dusty microphone in his room, memories of Apu haunting him. Kajol watches from the doorway, her heart racing. Back at the hospital, Ishani practices writing her name, a determined glint in her eye. Abhijeet and Ambika watch from the hallway, holding hands. “She’s strong,” Ambika murmurs.
