Scene 1: Tejas’s Denial and Aniruddha’s Discovery
The episode opens with a tense conversation between Tejas and Aniruddha. Tejas, sounding defensive, denies having any knowledge about Jhanak. “I don’t know anything,” Tejas insists firmly, his tone final. Aniruddha, frustrated and desperate, tries to probe further, but Tejas hangs up the phone abruptly. Left staring at his phone, Aniruddha’s confusion deepens. As he puts his phone down, a news alert pops up on his screen, catching his attention.
He stares at the screen in disbelief. The headline reads: “Young Woman Killed in Tragic Accident Identified as Jhanak.” His heart sinks. Aniruddha’s face goes pale as the reality sets in—Jhanak, the girl who had meant so much to him, is gone. Overwhelmed with grief, he immediately blames Arshi and her mother, convinced that they are somehow responsible for Jhanak’s death. “They did this! It’s their fault!” he mutters angrily to himself, pacing around his room, lost in his thoughts.
Scene 2: Jhanak’s Lifeless Body in the Hermit’s Hut
Meanwhile, in a secluded part of the forest, the lifeless body of Jhanak is brought into a small, rundown hut. The hermit and his followers gather around her, worried and determined to help. They lay her down gently on a mat, hoping she will somehow wake up. Some of the villagers try to tend to her, while others rush to gather herbal remedies and makeshift medical supplies. The hermit, an elder man with a kind face, kneels beside her and touches her wrist, feeling for any signs of life. His face shows concern, but he remains calm. “There is still hope,” he says softly to those around him. He closes his eyes and begins to pray, his voice quiet but steady. He asks the almighty to save Jhanak, to bring her back from the edge of death. The people watch, waiting for a miracle.
Scene 3: Blame and Fear in the Family Discussion
Back at Tanuja’s house, a different conversation is taking place. Tanuja, Vipasha, and Lal are seated together, discussing the terrible events surrounding Jhanak’s death. They are not as shaken as one might expect. Instead, they speak of the consequences and how it might affect their family. Tanuja, with a hint of bitterness in her voice, says, “Jhanak was nothing but trouble. Look at what she’s done to all of us.” Vipasha nods but looks more worried than angry. She voices her concerns, “What if the police get involved? They could start investigating, and who knows what they’ll find?” Lal, usually calm, stays quiet, but his expression suggests he agrees with their concerns. Scene 4: Vipasha’s Doubts and Arshi’s Defense
Tanuja and Vipasha try to calm the situation. They urge Aniruddha to move on from Jhanak, but it’s clear he is struggling to cope with the news. Vipasha, always trying to keep things in control, starts to voice a strange thought. “What if this girl isn’t even Jhanak? What if someone’s trying to fool us all?” she asks, her brow furrowed in doubt. The others are taken aback by her words, but the idea hangs in the air.
Arshi, however, is having none of it. She crosses her arms and snaps, “Don’t you dare say anything about my mother! She had nothing to do with this.” Arshi is firm in defending her mother, believing that whatever happened, they are not to blame. Vipasha tries to explain her reasoning, suggesting that maybe Jhanak had manipulated everyone to get close to Aniruddha. “She might have seen an opportunity,” Vipasha says softly, but Arshi is too angry to listen.
Scene 5: Aniruddha and Aditya at the Police Station
Later, Aniruddha and Aditya arrive at the police station, still reeling from the events. They sit in silence, unsure of what to do next. Aniruddha is visibly shaken, while Aditya’s face is a mix of guilt and sorrow. He feels responsible for bringing Jhanak to Kolkata, and now, with her tragic death, he cannot shake the weight of that guilt. “I should never have brought her here,” Aditya says quietly, staring at the floor. The police officers are working hard to investigate the case but are struggling to find any leads. The area where the accident took place was isolated, and no witnesses have come forward. One officer speaks to a media reporter, pressuring him to reveal the exact location of the incident. “We need all the details if we’re going to solve this,” the officer says, his voice firm.
Scene 6: Jhanak’s Miraculous Recovery
Back in the hermit’s hut, the prayers seem to have worked. After hours of uncertainty, Jhanak’s fingers twitch, and slowly, she regains consciousness. The hermit is overjoyed as she opens her eyes. “She’s back!” he exclaims, overwhelmed with relief. The others in the hut rush to her side, offering her a glass of ayurvedic juice to help her recover. Jhanak drinks slowly, still weak and disoriented. Though her body has regained strength, her mind is a blank slate. She looks around, confused and scared. “Where am I?” she whispers, but no one can give her the answers she needs. The hermit reassures her, “You’re safe now. Rest, child. We will take care of you.” But Jhanak cannot remember anything—not who she is, where she came from, or what had happened to her.
Scene 7: The Police’s Investigation and Aniruddha’s Silence
At the police station, the officers assure Aniruddha that they are doing everything they can to find the person responsible for Jhanak’s death. They tell him that they plan to interrogate Srishti Mukherjee, hoping she may have information that could help solve the case. Aniruddha listens quietly, but his mind is elsewhere. He is consumed by memories of Jhanak, the moments they shared, and the love he felt for her. Aditya tries to bring Aniruddha back to the present, encouraging him to stay strong. “We need to find out who did this and make them pay,” Aditya says, urging Aniruddha to take action. But Aniruddha remains silent, lost in his grief. Chhoton and Lalan, two of Aniruddha’s close friends, arrive and try to comfort him. They know how much Jhanak meant to him and want to help him through this painful time. However, Aniruddha is too broken to respond, his heart too heavy with sorrow.
Scene 8: Vipasha’s Plea to Srishti Mukherjee
Meanwhile, back at Tanuja’s house, Vipasha approaches Srishti Mukherjee with a plea. “Please don’t take any legal action against Aniruddha. He loved Arshi once; maybe he can again,” she says, hoping to appeal to Srishti’s sense of reason. Srishti looks unsure, but Vipasha continues, explaining that Aniruddha is not in his right mind and needs time to heal from Jhanak’s death. Tanuja also steps in, promising that she will take care of her son. “I will make sure he comes to his senses and moves on. He will love Arshi again, I promise,” Tanuja says, her voice filled with determination. Srishti listens quietly, but it’s unclear if she is convinced.
