Scene 1: A Mother’s Secret and a Village’s Grudge
Jhanak walks into the house, her voice flat. “I need some time alone.” She closes the door behind her, leaving Kanka and Parashar outside. Kanka folds her arms. “Nutan’s just playing games. We should kick her out.” Parashar shakes his head. “You don’t understand. I never married Nutan.” He glares at Kanka. “I lied so she could stay here. She helped us when we needed her.” Kanka scoffs. “That doesn’t erase her mistakes!” Parashar’s tone hardens. “Nutan’s staying. Stay out of it.” Meanwhile, Ishani crouches in the yard, finishing a bright rangoli design. Menka claps. “That looks amazing!” Aarav nods. “I got permission to go to the mela later.” Jeet rolls up on his bike, kicking up dust. He spots Ishani and smirks. “Remember me?” Ishani ignores him, focusing on her work. Jeet steps forward, crushing the rangoli under his shoe. Ishani jumps up. “What’s wrong with you?!” She raises her hand to slap him, but Jeet grabs her wrist. “Easy,” he says. “Getting angry’s bad for your health.” He gestures to his bike. “Come for a ride. Hug me if you get scared.” SLAP! Ishani yanks free. “You deserved that.” Grandma pulls Ishani aside. “Stay away from Jeet. He’s dangerous.” Ishani crosses her arms. “I’m not scared. He won’t come here again.”
Scene 2: Moon’s Shocking Claim Rocks the Family
Aniruddh strides into his house, Moon trailing behind. Arshi eyes the girl. “Who’s this?” Moon shrugs. “I want to go to my village. My parents live there.” Bablu interrupts. “Apu’s sick. Can you check on him?” Anjana turns to Moon. “Where are you from?” Choton frowns. “Introduce yourself properly.” Moon stays silent. Mrinalini sighs. “Everyone’s been mean to her.” She asks gently, “Do you miss your mom?” Moon nods. “I want to go to her.” Shubhankar bursts in. “Is this the project you mentioned?” He eyes Moon. “She’s an orphan, right? You want to adopt her?” Aniruddh shakes his head. “Moon has a right to be here. She’s Arshi’s and my daughter.” The room erupts. Arshi stammers, “What are you talking about?” Anjana demands, “How do you know this? Did you meet Jhanak?” Choton snaps, “Tell the truth!” Aniruddh holds up a hand. “I found Moon with Jhanak. She’s her real daughter.” Arshi’s voice cracks. “Why didn’t you tell me?” Aniruddh avoids her gaze. “Jhanak’s married now. I can’t interfere.” Arshi clenches her fists. “She said she loved you and married someone else?” Bablu mutters, “At least she’s happy.” Moon interrupts. “I want to go to my mother. Her name is Nutan.” The room falls silent. Choton whispers, “Nutan? That’s Jhanak’s name in the village.” Aniruddh nods. “Jhanak’s hiding her real identity.” Arshi steps closer. “Are you sure about Moon?” Aniruddh’s jaw tightens. “I have proof.”
Scene 3: A Village Divided and a Heartbroken Farewell
Back in the village, Parashar finds Nutan packing a small bag. “Everyone’s angry at me,” she says quietly. “I’ll leave.” Parashar blocks the door. “Where will you go?” Nutan looks away. “I don’t know. I’m not your wife. I never thought you were my husband.” Parashar’s voice softens. “You’re sad, aren’t you?” Nutan squares her shoulders. “I came alone. I’ll leave alone.” Meanwhile, Ishani watches Jeet’s bike disappear down the road. Menka’s mother mutters, “I hope everything works out.” Ambika grabs Ishani’s arm. “Stop this. You’ll only cause trouble.” At Aniruddh’s house, Moon sits alone, tracing circles on the floor. Anjana asks, “What do you want to eat?” Moon’s eyes fill with tears. “I want to go to my mother.”

Nutan stiffens. “I don’t have it.” Sayali’s voice drops. “I know you gave it to Tejas. Get it back.” Nutan’s lips tremble. “I can’t. He already used it.” Sayali grabs the bag. “Then I’m coming with you. We’ll get it back.”
