Welcome to Jhanak Written Update 14th January 2025. In Today’s Episode, growing tensions between Jhanak and other family members, especially Sejal, while a parallel story unfolds about birthday celebrations causing family drama. The episode ends with Aniruddh’s arrival, bringing hope to Jhanak…. Scene 1: Vihaan and Jhanak’s Late Night Talk
Vihaan tells Jhanak, “I don’t understand what’s happening. I feel bad that you have to deal with all this.” Jhanak says, “Don’t worry, Ketki didn’t say anything to me. She said those things to Avni, and I’m not Avni.” “Avni was my last love. I won’t let anyone make you feel bad,” Vihaan tells her. Jhanak stands up for herself, saying, “I won’t let anyone be mean to me.” Vihaan says he will sleep on the balcony, but Jhanak stops him. “You can sleep in this room. I don’t want to make your problems bigger,” she says. Vihaan thanks her for being so nice.
Scene 2: Kitchen Tasks and Mean Words
Later, Ketki comes to the kitchen. She tells Jhanak, “From today, you have to make ghee. It’s part of our business.” She tells Prachi and Sejal to teach Jhanak everything, saying Jhanak should work like people from the village. While working, Jhanak thinks about Vihaan. She wonders if he really went to get Aniruddh from the airport. She drops a big pot while thinking.
Prachi asks, “Are you okay, Jhanak?” But Sejal isn’t nice. She says, “I worked hard too, but I never acted like you.” When Jhanak asks what Sejal’s problem is, Sejal just makes fun of her.
Scene 3: Taking Sides
Prachi tries to help. She tells Sejal, “Why are you being mean? Jhanak won’t stay here long anyway.” Sejal says back, “Ketki won’t let Vihaan and Ahaan go anywhere. Jhanak can go abroad alone if she wants.” Prachi reminds Sejal, “What will Jhanak do? This is her house too.” When Sejal asks why Prachi is helping Jhanak, Prachi reminds her, “I took care of you when you first came to this house as a new bride.”
Scene 4: Priyanshi’s Request
Priyanshi comes to talk to Jhanak. Sejal warns her, “Stay away from Jhanak, or Ketki will be angry.” Priyanshi doesn’t like this. “Why do you care if I talk to Jhanak?” she asks. Sejal tells her, “You’re being mean to me. And remember, Ketki will talk about your marriage after Jhanak’s welcome party.” Priyanshi asks Jhanak to help with her essay. Jhanak says she’ll help later, and Priyanshi says thank you before leaving.
Scene 5: The Study Discussion
Sejal starts again, “What’s the use of studying? Look at Jhanak – she’s educated but still just a daughter-in-law here.” Jhanak answers back, “I can be both educated and a daughter-in-law. What’s wrong with that?” Mehek comes to help, but Prachi tells her to rest. Mehek asks why Sejal looks sad, and Sejal tells her about Jhanak helping Priyanshi study. Mehek says wisely, “I couldn’t study, but Priyanshi should.” But Sejal says Ketki doesn’t want Priyanshi to study.
Scene 6: The Birthday Drama
At another house, Lalon and Apu come in early. When Shubhankar asks why they’re there, Lalon says, “This is my house.” Lalon brings out a gift. “It’s Anjana’s birthday today,” he says, surprising everyone. When Anjana asks how he knew, Choton says he told Lalon. Arundhati says they don’t celebrate daughter-in-law birthdays, but Lalon points out they celebrate Tanuja’s birthday. This makes everyone argue.
Scene 7: Back at the Kitchen
The fighting in the kitchen continues. Sejal brags about coming from a good family, but Jhanak tells her not to say bad things about her parents. Ketki comes in asking, “Where’s my tea? I have three daughters-in-law and one daughter, but no one made my tea!” Just then, Vihaan brings Aniruddh home. Seeing him makes Jhanak very happy.
