Jhanak Written Update 13th October 2025: Aditi’s Desperate Decision and a House Divided

Jhanak tells Rishi he needs to go convince Aditi. But Payal jumps in, asking Jhanak to stay out of their family business. Jhanak clarifies she’s speaking up for Aditi’s sake. Neelu says Jhanak doesn’t need to think about Aditi at all. Putul adds that Jhanak shouldn’t worry herself about other people’s problems. That’s when Jhanak announces she’s leaving the house tomorrow. She asks Rishi not to stop her this time around. Rishi reminds her she’ll have to come back to Kolkata anyway once she gets her college admission. Jhanak tells him to forget about that right now and focus only on Aditi. Rishi says he’s happy for Jhanak and proud of her accomplishments too.
Indumati says they gave Jhanak so much love, and all they got back was betrayal. Dadabhai asks Indumati to look at Jhanak’s good qualities instead. Tanushri points out that Aditi’s sitting sad in her room while Rishi can’t face her—that’s why he’s not going to his room to talk things through with her. Rishi challenges this, asking when he ever said he can’t face Aditi. He insists he’s done nothing wrong, so he’s not scared. Tanushri tells him she’s exhausted from trying to explain things to him.
A Letter Written in Despair
Aditi’s writing a letter for Rishi. In this letter, she mentions she shouldn’t have agreed to marry him after discovering the truth about him and Jhanak. But she failed to realize back then that Rishi doesn’t belong to her. Now she’s finally realized she can’t get rid of Jhanak—Jhanak will always be between her and Rishi. So she’s decided to die because she can’t continue living this way. She tells Rishi she lost against Jhanak. Downstairs, Indumati’s telling Jhanak to go to Simulboni tomorrow. Jhanak replies she’ll definitely leave, and nobody needs to suffer because of her anymore. She tells them she loves them so much. Neelu’s harsh—she says they don’t need Jhanak’s love. Jhanak asks them to just tolerate her presence for tonight only.
Rishi announces he has to leave for important work, so he’ll talk to Aditi later. Neelu says she feels bad for Aditi. Rishi tells everyone they’re all reacting like he’s cheating on Aditi, pointing out that nobody trusts him. Surjeet says Rishi’s actions don’t match his words, and Jhanak should learn to stay by herself. Jhanak goes inside.
Behind the Closed Door
Aditi asks Rishi not to betray anyone ever again. She regrets trusting him and starts crying. She questions why this happened to her when she never did anything wrong to anyone. She feels like Rishi and her parents betrayed her, and her death won’t even affect them. Then she cuts her wrist and falls down unconscious.
Dadabhai says he’s now also thinking Jhanak should leave the house for her own good. Putul agrees, saying she can’t watch Jhanak being insulted anymore. But Indumati tells them they can’t see anyone except Jhanak. She blames Jhanak for Aditi’s unhappiness in the house. Surjeet mentions that Aditi’s also affected by her parents’ betrayal. Neelu puts all the blame on Jhanak, calling her the reason for every problem. (This is where things get heated.) Rishi asks them not to talk about Jhanak like this. He says Neelu doesn’t have the right to interfere in this situation.
Neelu says Rishi doesn’t have a problem with Putul. Rishi explains that Putul doesn’t speak negatively about people. Then he drops a bomb—he tells Neelu that her husband’s probably staying away from her because of her nature. He suggests Neelu should go to her own house and solve her marital problems, or else her husband might leave her for good. Neelu asks how Rishi can say something so cruel. Indumati asks Neelu to stay quiet. She says she’s missing her son and goes inside. Dadabhai reveals his son left for abroad on this exact day. He asks Putul to stay with Indumati for tonight. But Putul says Indumati should stay alone today, and if they’re lucky, her brother will return someday. Jhanak hears all of this and feels terrible for Dadabhai and Indumati. She asks God to bring Dadabhai’s son back home.
The Discovery
Tanushri asks Neelu to bring Aditi downstairs. Neelu agrees and heads upstairs. She asks Aditi to open the door. Payal comes there too and starts knocking. They’re getting worried because Aditi’s not opening the door at all. They go back downstairs. Neelu tells the family that Aditi won’t open the door. Jhanak’s hoping she gets admission to a good college and hostel. She’s thinking that if she leaves, then Rishi can live happily with Aditi. Putul comes to see her. Jhanak says she doesn’t have the right to stay in this house anymore. She mentions she needs to thank her teachers as well. Putul reminds her she’ll have to return to Kolkata for her studies. Jhanak acknowledges that Kolkata’s great for studying and working, but Simulboni’s the best place for her to actually live in. She starts worrying about Aditi because Aditi only recently learned the truth about her childhood.
