International Conference on R&D Governance
The National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (NIScPR) is set to host a significant two-day international conference. This event marks the institute’s 4th Foundation Day celebrations and aims to foster discussions on critical issues in research and development (R&D) governance. NIScPR, a part of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), plays a vital role in bridging the gap between science, technology, industry, and society. The conference will gather experts, policymakers, scholars, and researchers to explore emerging challenges in performance evaluation for R&D governance.

Among the distinguished speakers, Prof. Ashutosh Sharma, President of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) and a prominent figure in the field, will deliver the Chief Guest address. Additionally, Prof. Sachin Chaturvedi, Director General of the Research and Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), will present the Foundation Day Lecture.
Experts from the NITI Aayog and the Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India will also participate. The conference will feature keynote speeches, invited talks, panel discussions, and paper presentations. International experts from countries such as France, Russia, South Korea, the Netherlands, Brazil, Australia, and Armenia will contribute to the discussions.
