The findings were presented in a written reply by Minister Rao Inderjit Singh in the Rajya Sabha, emphasizing the ongoing industrial development in India.
Key Findings of the ASI 2022-23
The ASI 2022-23 provides a detailed analysis of the industrial landscape in India, showcasing the estimated total number of factories and the employment figures across different sectors. The fieldwork for ASI 2023-24 commenced in September 2024, ensuring that the data remains current and relevant. The survey methodology involves comprehensive data collection from various industries, allowing for accurate assessments of growth and employment trends. As the government continues to focus on industrial development, the ASI serves as a crucial tool for policymakers and stakeholders. The insights gained from this survey will inform future strategies aimed at enhancing productivity and fostering sustainable growth in the industrial sector.
Government’s Commitment to Industrial Growth
The findings of the ASI 2022-23 underscore the Indian government’s commitment to promoting industrial growth and job creation.
