UrjanovaC Pvt Ltd emerged as the winner for its synthetic catalyst technology, which enables scalable and cost-competitive CO₂ capture and conversion. The first runner-up, Breathe ESG Private Limited, developed a SaaS platform that automates ESG reporting and decarbonization strategies. These innovations reflect the growing emphasis on sustainability and environmental responsibility within the energy sector.
Additionally, the Ministry introduced the Vasudha – Oil and Gas Startup Challenge, targeting overseas startups revolutionizing the upstream oil and gas sector. Latin Energy Partners Inc. from Paraguay won this challenge, showcasing the global reach and impact of India Energy Week.
The event also featured a Hackathon among seven premier IITs, promoting research and technological innovation in carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) and renewable energy. The recent amendments passed by the Rajya Sabha are expected to enhance policy predictability, particularly concerning windfall tax implementation.
