IHCL Expands Presence with New Gateway Hotel in Hennur, Bengaluru
The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) is set to enhance its portfolio with a new Gateway hotel in Hennur, Bengaluru. This signing marks a significant greenfield project aimed at catering to the city’s evolving hospitality needs.
Transforming Hennur into a Hospitality Hub
According to IHCL’s Executive Vice President for Real Estate & Development, the expansion reflects Bengaluru’s ongoing growth, particularly in its suburban and satellite areas. North Bengaluru has notably emerged as a key development corridor, bolstered by investments in infrastructure and burgeoning sectors like technology, aerospace, and education.
“The Gateway Hennur will provide a modern and inviting accommodation option, perfectly aligned with the city’s rapid expansion. We are thrilled to deepen our collaboration with Mr. Sanjay Suresh on this venture,” she commented.
The Gateway Hennur will feature 350 keys and is designed to offer an enriching experience for both leisure and business travelers. Guests will enjoy a range of culinary offerings, including an all-day dining restaurant, a chic bar, a specialty restaurant, and a relaxing lounge area. For business needs, the hotel will provide extensive banqueting facilities exceeding 16,000 sq. ft., equipped with cutting-edge meeting rooms.
Wellness is also a core focus of the Gateway Hennur experience. The hotel will include a fully equipped gym, a health club, a swimming pool, and treatment rooms offering rejuvenating therapies to ensure guests have everything they need for relaxation and revitalization.

Hennur is fast becoming a sought-after location, situated close to major IT hubs and the international airport, providing seamless access to the city’s focal attractions.
With the addition of the Gateway Hennur, IHCL will operate a total of 20 hotels across Bengaluru, including 11 currently under development. This latest outlet will play a pivotal role in meeting the increasing demand for high-quality hospitality within the region.
