A group of school children aged between 16 and 18 had the honor of meeting Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today. These young people were chosen under the Amrit Generation programme, a partnership between the Ministry of Women’s and Children’s Development and Meta.

Coming from all over India, these students, part of a group of 36, expressed their vision of India and the future they hope to give their country and their fellow countrymen. They shared this with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi who also encouraged them to do more for their fellow Indians and create a bright future for all by focusing on ‘Vocal for Local’. He also urged them to visit the Amrit Sarovars in their regions on Aug. 15 to highlight the importance of water conservation efforts in India, emphasizing their role in preserving the nation’s heritage.
