Google Photos Introduces Quick Edit Feature

Quick Edit Feature in Google Photos
The Quick Edit feature is set to revolutionize how users interact with their photos. According to a report from Android Authority, users have spotted a new Quick Edit screen when selecting a single media file for sharing. This screen includes an Enhanced option, which works similarly to the existing Enhance feature in the photo editing menu. The Enhanced option automatically adjusts various elements of the photo, improving its overall quality with minimal effort from the user.
In addition to automatic enhancements, Quick Edit will also allow users to crop their images swiftly before sharing. This feature is particularly useful for those who want to focus on specific parts of a photo or remove unwanted elements. Once users finish editing, a Share option will be conveniently located at the bottom-right corner of the screen, making it easy to distribute the edited media.
However, it is important to note that the Quick Edit options are only available when a single file is selected. If users choose multiple photos or videos, they will see the existing share sheet instead. This feature was identified in the Google Photos for Android app version 7.10.0, but as of now, it has not been confirmed for public use. Users may need to wait for further updates to access this new functionality.
