Welcome to GHKKPM Written Update 30th April 2025. In this written update, we follow the ongoing story of our favourite characters as they face new challenges, share emotional moments, and continue their journey. In Today’s Episode, Neil and Teju become closer due to a stormy night, leading Teju to defend their relationship strongly in front of Rituraj. Neil plans to leave for a medical camp, upsetting Teju, who decides to perform a fast for him, hinting at her changing feelings…. Scene 1: A Stormy Night Brings Neil and Teju Closer
The night was very dark. Neil was fast asleep, but Teju could not sleep. She sat quietly, reading a book. Suddenly, lightning flashed in the sky, and Teju got scared. In her fear, she dropped a glass, and it broke. Neil quickly woke up from the sound and asked Teju, “What happened?” Teju replied quietly, “The glass fell down by mistake.” Neil said, “I will clean it right now.” Teju quickly stopped him, “No, Neil, clean it tomorrow. Let’s sleep now.” Neil agreed and went back to sleep. But soon lightning flashed again. Teju was very scared now. She removed the pillows placed between her and Neil to feel safer. Neil woke up again and noticed the pillows were gone.
“Teju, where did the pillows go?” Neil asked softly. Teju told Neil, “You kicked them off while sleeping.” Another flash of lightning made Teju hug Neil tightly. Neil understood something was bothering her. “Are you scared of the lightning?” he gently asked. Teju nodded, “Yes, Neil. Can I hold your hand while sleeping tonight?” Neil smiled kindly, “Sure, you can.” Teju soon fell asleep holding Neil’s hand. As Neil watched her sleep, he thought about all the nice things Teju had done for him. Suddenly, Rituraj knocked on their bedroom door and quickly came in without waiting for Neil’s reply. Neil became upset and asked him, “Don’t you have manners? How can you come into our room at night like this?”
Rituraj replied, “I knocked, but you didn’t answer. I was worried because you recently came back from jail.” Teju woke up and also scolded Rituraj, “Don’t you have manners to enter our room at night?” Rituraj looked at Teju and teased her, “You always say Neil isn’t your husband, but tonight you’re acting like he’s really your husband.” Neil felt uncomfortable and tried to leave, but Teju stopped him. She turned firmly to Rituraj, “Neil thinks you’re my friend. Let me make it clear—I am not your friend. Do not enter our room again in the middle of the night.” After Rituraj left, Teju looked at Neil and said, “I don’t like Rituraj coming here like this.” Neil replied calmly, “He’s my brother, and he thinks you’re his friend.” “No, Neil. Rituraj is not my friend,” Teju made it clear. Another lightning flash made Teju hug Neil tightly again. Meanwhile, Rituraj secretly listened to them and thought he needed to teach Teju a lesson.
Scene 2: Feelings Begin to Grow
The next morning, Neil came out from the washroom and saw Teju. He remembered their closeness from the night before and how Teju scolded Rituraj for entering their room. Teju saw Neil and smiled secretly. Neil was wearing his shirt when Teju got a message from her brother. Her brother said, “I got A+ in maths, thanks to Neil!” Teju felt very happy and remembered Mukta’s words, “Anyone would fall in love with Neil.” Neil’s phone rang. On the call, he said, “Yes, I’m leaving tomorrow.” Teju asked him worriedly, “Where are you going?” Then she saw Neil had buttoned his shirt wrong and asked him, “Where is your mind, Neil?” Neil smiled playfully, “I got distracted seeing you.” Then he fixed his shirt and told her, “I’m going to Konkan for a medical camp.”
Teju quickly said, “Konkan is not safe during rains. Remember, our father’s health became bad there. I have decided not to let anyone close to me go there.” Neil teased her, “Rituraj isn’t coming with me, and I’m not someone close to you, am I?” Teju replied seriously, “Tell Surwa you’re not going.” Neil assured her, “I can’t cancel. Don’t worry about your Amaravati exam. I’ll be back soon.” Neil said, “You can go to your mother’s place if you want.” Teju softly replied, “No, I can stay alone.”
Scene 3: Vat Savitri Pooja and Confused Hearts
Suddenly, Nandini came into their room and said, “Tomorrow is Vat Savitri pooja. You both must do the ritual together.” Neil told Nandini, “I cannot do the ritual as I’m leaving tomorrow.” Hearing this, Teju became upset and told Neil, “You can leave today itself,” and walked away. Nandini gently said to Neil, “Teju cannot express her feelings, but I see she cares about you and doesn’t want you to go to Konkan.” Neil simply replied, “Teju just worries about who will take her for the exam.” Nandini smiled and said, “Soon, you’ll understand her real feelings.” Elsewhere, Leena talked to Amruta about things needed for the pooja. Nandini informed them, “Neil won’t be here for the pooja as he’s leaving.” Leena rudely commented, “Teju won’t fast anyway; she thinks Neil is just a medal.”
Teju entered and firmly told everyone, “I will definitely fast for Neil.” Leena challenged her, “Don’t fast unless you truly see him as your husband.” Amruta reminded Leena, “You didn’t do rituals happily during your marriage either.” Teju explained, “Things were different then.” Nandini asked Teju, “What changed now? Do you love Neil?” Rituraj jumped into the conversation, “Teju, you once told me you can’t stand Neil. Now you’re fasting for him?” Neil entered just then. Teju angrily told Rituraj, “Stop lying about me. I never said such things. One day, I’ll prove your lies.” Neil calmly asked Rituraj, “Even if she said something privately, how can you tell everyone?”
Teju warned again, “Rituraj is not my friend. I’ll prove it someday,” and she left angrily. Nandini scolded Rituraj for creating trouble between Neil and Teju. After everyone left, Rituraj approached Neil and said, “Teju is lying. One day you’ll see the truth.” Neil confidently told himself, “I know the truth already. Teju is moving away from you, Rituraj. I feel she is starting to have feelings for me.”
