Scene 1: Family Clashes and Secret Plans
Teju glares at Satish, her voice sharp. “Why didn’t I speak up in front of Neil? Why stay silent now?” Satish sighs, rubbing his temples. “Neil’s about to be family. We can’t afford more drama.” Teju crosses her arms. “But your silence lets him disrespect me!” Meanwhile, Leena dials Chavan Niwas. Sonali answers, and Leena says, “Send Juhi tomorrow. Yash and Rituraj will pick her up.” Sonali agrees. Later, Neil approaches Juhi. “You’re coming to our home, right?” Juhi nods. “Yes, you wanted to talk?” Neil smiles. “Exactly. It’s important.” Juhi shares the news with her family. Lakshmi smirks. “Neil knows a diamond’s worth. You’re not like some people.” She glances at Teju. Satish slams the table. “As long as Teju’s here, chaos stays. We’ll marry her off—then peace.”
Scene 2: Rituraj’s Surprise and Teju’s Dilemma
Rituraj’s manager pats him on the back. “U.S. tour was a hit! Congrats!” Rituraj grins. His phone rings. “Who’s this?” Teju’s voice answers, “Remember me?” Rituraj’s eyes widen. “Teju? Why’d you change your number? I called after the tour!” Teju hesitates. “I… needed space.” Rituraj leans forward. “Where are you?” Teju sighs. “Nagpur, at my grandparents’. But I can’t leave.” Rituraj frowns. “Why? You’re not a prisoner!” Teju whispers, “My family’s strict. They’d never let me choose my life.” “Then let’s fix this,” Rituraj says. “Marry me.” Teju freezes. “What?” He clarifies, “I mean, after your M.A. exams. Focus on studies first.” Teju’s voice cracks. “They’ll never let me decide anything!” Rituraj insists, “Give me your address. I’ll call the police!” Teju snaps, “No! They took me in when I had nothing. I’ll handle this myself.” She hangs up. Rituraj stares at the phone. “Marriage? We barely know each other…” He shakes his head. “My career comes first.”
Scene 3: Broken Calls and Broken Dreams
Teju slumps on her bed, tears streaming. Rituraj calls again. “When can we meet?” Teju sniffs. “We can’t. Goodbye.” She ends the call. Rituraj sighs. “She’s stuck. But why marriage? I’m not ready…” Back at home, Lakshmi corners Teju. “You’re throwing your life away! Marry someone—anyone —to escape this house!” Teju wipes her eyes. “I’ll solve this my way.”
