Scene 1: The Power of a Promise
Sai wraps her arms around Savi, refusing to let go. “Where did you go?” she asks, her voice shaky. Savi studies Sai’s face, noticing red eyes and a trembling chin. “Why are you crying?” she asks gently. Sai’s bottom lip quivers. “I got scared,” she whispers. “What if you turn into a shining star like Rajat? Who would hug me then?” She darts to her backpack, pulling out crumpled papers covered in crayon drawings—Savi, Neil, and Rajat frozen in stick-figure smiles. “I called everyone,” Sai says, “but no one answered. So I talked to my drawings instead.” Her tiny hand grips Savi’s wrist. “Promise me you’ll never leave me!” Savi kneels, pressing her forehead to Sai’s. “Cross my heart,” she murmurs. Later, Savi stands alone in a dim room, clutching a flickering diya before Rajat’s photo. “Show me who did this,” she pleads. Tears drip onto the frame as she whispers, “Why didn’t you tell me about the money problems? About Teju?” A soft shuffle behind her makes her turn—Sai watches silently, then retreats without a sound.
Scene 2: A Mother’s Strength
Neil’s phone buzzes angrily on his kitchen counter. Dozens of missed calls from Sai blink on the screen. He dials back instantly. “Battery died,” he explains, guilt thickening his voice. Sai ignores his apology. “How do I stop Maa from crying?” Neil pauses. “Hug her,” he says finally. “Hugs work better than words.” Sai agrees, then adds, “Do you hug Pookie when she’s sad?” Neil freezes—Teju’s name hangs in the air. “Thanks, Sai,” he says quietly, ending the call. Downstairs, Sai throws her arms around Savi’s waist. “Pookie Uncle said hugs stop tears—and look! You’re smiling!” Savi laughs wetly, squeezing Sai tighter. “Magic hugs, huh?” she murmurs. Later, Savi dials Bhakti. “We need to know why Teju met Rajat that night,” she insists. Bhakti’s voice crackles through the phone: “Found Teju’s workplace—the Harmony Music Institute.” Savi’s breath quickens. “Meet me there tomorrow.”
Scene 3: Clues in the Classroom
The next morning, Neil strides into Harmony Music Institute, flashing his badge at the receptionist. “Teju Kohl,” he demands. The woman taps her keyboard. “She joined as an assistant teacher and got a scholarship from the Kohl Foundation.” Neil’s jaw tightens. “The Kohl Foundation?” She nods. “Plus, she traveled to Dubai for a cultural program last year.” Neil scoffs. “Liar.” But Savi emerges from the shadows, holding a crumpled boarding pass. “Her passport was scanned,” she says flatly. Neil spins. “Did you steal her passport?” Savi rolls her eyes. “I’m investigating, not robbing.” He crosses his arms. “You’re suspended. Should’ve been fired.” Savi smirks. “How’d you know?” Neil jabs a finger at her. “I’m sharp.” Savi grins. “You’re better at finding clues than I am. Help me clear Rajat and Teju’s names.” Neil hesitates. “You accused Teju at the station.” Savi waves a hand. “Forget that. We both want justice.” Neil storms out. Bhakti materializes beside Savi. “That man’s pride could fill a stadium,” she mutters.
Scene 4: Truth Behind the Tears
Bhakti pulls Teju’s phone from her bag. “Should we listen to the audio?” she asks. Neil materializes behind them, snatching the device. “My wife’s phone,” he growls. Savi blocks his path. “Evidence!” Neil shoves past, sprinting to his car. Savi and Bhakti chase him, shouting for an auto. In his car, Neil presses play. Teju’s voice crackles: “Rithu Raj, stop lying about me!” A second voice spits back: “Nandini’s coming—frame Teju, ruin her reputation!” Neil slams the brakes. “Teju was innocent,” he chokes. Memories flash—sending her away from the hospital, her tear-streaked face. “I ruined everything,” he sobs. Tires screech as he races across the city. Savi watches his taillights vanish.

Precap: Neil slams Rithu Raj against a wall. “Confess the truth—stop hurting Teju!” he roars. Rithu Raj gasps, “I framed her! I wanted her back, but she refused!” Neil’s fist cracks against his jaw. “Justice starts now.”
