Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya in Vadodara recently concluded its 3rd Annual Technical Festival, “EPITOME 2025,” which showcased innovative ideas and discussions on the future of logistics and transportation. He pointed out that the government’s investment in multimodal logistics, aviation, and railways is paving the way for global career opportunities for the youth.
Chaudhary stressed that the logistics sector, encompassing railways, aviation, and maritime industries, is highly technical and requires a workforce equipped with the right skills. He called for collaboration among industry, academia, and government to create a skilled labor pool that can enhance efficiency and reduce errors in operations. Chaudhary highlighted the government’s ambitious plans to double India’s startup ecosystem by 2030, projecting the creation of 50 million jobs across various sectors. To support this vision, the government has announced a significant investment of 60,000 crores to upgrade Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), which will play a crucial role in equipping the workforce with necessary skills.
