A recent meeting between the All-India National Public Sector Employees Federation (NPSEF) and Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh has brought significant attention to the ongoing reforms in pension schemes for public sector employees. The Federation’s office bearers provided positive feedback on the Jeevan Praman system, noting that it has simplified life for pensioners. They mentioned that verification can now be completed with just a click of a smartphone, making the process more efficient and user-friendly. This technological advancement not only enhances convenience for pensioners but also minimizes delays and potential fraud, thereby improving the overall quality of pensioner services.
