Organizers have confirmed that six of the seven G7 nations will be represented by their top leadership, alongside large delegations from China and Pakistan. Additionally, Karnataka’s Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar is likely to participate. Over 100 Indian CEOs, including industry leaders like Mukesh Ambani and Nandan Nilekani, are also expected to attend. Indian leaders will engage in panel discussions, including topics on India’s potential to become the world’s third-largest economy, alongside various bilateral meetings and India-focused events.
A Record Number of Participants Expected
The WEF anticipates a record turnout, with over 3,000 participants from more than 130 countries. This includes over 1,700 business leaders and a significant number of political leaders, alongside representatives from civil society, global financial institutions, and technology companies. The forum’s diverse participation reinforces Davos’s role as a pivotal platform for global dialogue.
