A groundbreaking study from the Comparative Cognition Lab at the University of California, San Diego, has revealed that dogs may have the ability to communicate using soundboards. Interestingly, dogs pressed buttons like “I love you” far less frequently than their owners did, reinforcing the idea that dogs were not merely imitating human behavior.
