DNEG Wins Oscar for Dune: Part Two’s Visual Effects

In a remarkable achievement, DNEG, a leading visual effects and animation company, secured the Oscar for Best Visual Effects for its work on Dune: Part Two at the 97th Academy Awards held in Los Angeles last night. The award was accepted by DNEG’s VFX Supervisors Stephen James and Rhys Salcombe, alongside Production VFX Supervisor Paul Lambert and Special Effects Supervisor Gerd Nefzer. This win marks DNEG’s eighth Oscar since 2011, solidifying its reputation in the industry.

The studio’s contributions were also celebrated at the Hollywood Creative Alliance Astra Awards and the Saturn Awards, further establishing DNEG as a leader in visual effects and animation.
