Mohammed pointed to alarming situations in countries like Sudan and Afghanistan, where entire generations are at risk of losing access to education. She also mentioned the devastating impact of conflict in Gaza, where many children have been deprived of in-person learning for years. To create a conducive learning environment, she called for comprehensive measures that ensure safe schools, affordable access, and well-trained teachers. Additionally, she emphasized the importance of mental health support for young people, recognizing that their well-being is crucial for their ability to learn and thrive.
