Department of Posts – Delhi Circle Announces Special Arrangements for Rakhi Mails

Rakshabandhan, the cherished festival celebrating the bond between brothers and sisters, is set to take place on August 9, 2025. In anticipation of this special occasion, the Department of Posts has announced special arrangements for the handling of Rakhi mail. From now until August 6, 2025, dedicated posting counters will be available at 34 key post offices across Delhi, including major railway stations, to facilitate the timely dispatch of Rakhi parcels both within the city and to other states.
Special Arrangements for Rakhi Mail
To ensure that Rakhi reaches its destination without delay, the Department of Posts has implemented a series of special measures. Customers are encouraged to utilize these services before the last-minute rush. The designated posting counters will be operational until August 6, 2025, allowing ample time for individuals to send their Rakhi mail. This initiative aims to streamline the mailing process and alleviate the stress often associated with last-minute postings.
The post offices selected for this initiative include some of the most frequented locations in Delhi. This strategic placement is designed to make it easier for residents to access mailing services.
