CyberPowerPC India Unveils Esports Masterclass Initiative

PC maker CyberPowerPC has launched an innovative esports masterclass series aimed at educating young gamers and their parents about the esports industry. The initiative seeks to clarify the structure of esports, highlight potential career opportunities, and address the challenges faced by aspiring players. The first two sessions have already taken place in Navi Mumbai, focusing on parental support and offering insights from experienced esports players.

Engaging Young Gamers and Their Parents

CyberPowerPC’s esports masterclass series is designed to foster understanding and communication between young gamers and their parents. The company has successfully conducted two sessions at ApeCity in Navi Mumbai, attracting over 30 participants, including both parents and children. The first session featured Vishal Parekh, COO of CyberPowerPC, alongside Yash Bhanushali and Jai Shah, co-founders of ApeCity by Orangutan. This session aimed to dispel common misconceptions about esports and emphasized the importance of parental support in a young gamer’s journey.

The second session brought together two well-known esports players from India, Arman (Aaru) and Ankit Shukla (Akop). They shared their personal experiences with competitive pressure, setbacks, and the impact of social media scrutiny. Their candid discussions provided valuable insights for aspiring gamers, helping them navigate the complexities of pursuing a career in esports while balancing their academic responsibilities.

Promoting Dialogue and Understanding

CyberPowerPC’s initiative is not just about teaching gaming skills; it aims to create a supportive environment for young players. The masterclasses encourage open dialogue between gamers and their parents, addressing the potential of esports as a viable career path. By focusing on the challenges and rewards of the esports industry, the sessions help demystify the field and promote a more informed perspective among families.

The company believes that fostering this understanding is crucial for the growth of the esports community in India. By addressing misconceptions and providing a platform for discussion, CyberPowerPC hopes to inspire a new generation of gamers who can pursue their passions with the support of their families.

Future Plans for Esports Education

CyberPowerPC plans to continue the esports masterclass series every Sunday at ApeCity in Navi Mumbai. The company is committed to expanding its efforts to promote PC gaming and esports in India. By offering regular sessions, they aim to build a strong foundation for young gamers and their families, ensuring they are well-equipped to navigate the esports landscape.

Parents and gamers interested in participating in these masterclasses can register through CyberPowerPC’s Instagram account (@cyberpowerpc.in). This initiative represents a significant step toward enhancing the acceptance and understanding of esports in the country, paving the way for future opportunities in this rapidly growing industry.
