The Ministry of Culture is responsible for the meetings of the Working Group on Culture (CWG) under the Indian presidency of the G20. CWG is organizing four meetings in Khajuraho (MP), Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Hampi (Karnataka) and Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh). In each meeting, the Ministry of Culture organizes a specific cultural event/program for the region. States ODOP (One District One Product) gifts are also given to visiting delegates.
Delegates from G20 member countries, host countries and international organizations are invited to attend these meetings.
The amount to be supported for the meetings of the working group on culture, including the meeting of G20 culture ministers, is in accordance with the overall budget allocation for this purpose.
